Midori Spring's Ceremonial Matcha Tea Brew, prepared using the traditional thin method, requires a Matcha Bowl (Chawan), Matcha Whisk (Chasen), Bamboo Scoop (Chashaku), and a small sifter. The process involves warming the bowl and whisk, sifting the Matcha, and whisking briskly in a "W" motion until a fine foam appears.

For a thicker Koicha preparation, start by gathering 4g (or 2 tsp) of thick, high-quality Matcha and 40ml (about 3 tbsp) of hot water. Warm and dry the chawan, then sift the Matcha into the bowl and whisk slowly and continuously until you have a smooth consistency without froth.

Matcha can also be used in delicious recipes, such as our Matcha Butter, which combines room temperature unsalted butter, Midori Spring Matcha powder, and a sweetener of your choice. Spread it on cookies, toast, or fruit for a delightful treat.
